Frequently asked

Good questions, plain answers

Straight answers on how 11::11 works. This is general information, not financial advice. For anything specific to you, speak with a licensed adviser and read the product disclosure documents.

What is staking?

Staking means locking your tokens for a set period so they can be put to work, in exchange for the potential to earn additional gold on your holding. Staking rewards are a promotional feature of the program and are not a risk-free return.

What do you mean by compounding?

Each week a percentage of your holding is calculated and added to your investment. You can withdraw that reward, or compound it by adding it to your stake so future rewards are calculated on the larger total.

Do I have to do that each week?

No. You set your preference once, withdraw or compound, and it rolls over automatically for the full term.

Is my investment guaranteed?

No. Your tokens are backed by physical, allocated gold, which is a different kind of protection to a bank guarantee or government insurance. Staking rewards are promotional and are not risk-free, and the value of gold itself can rise or fall.

What happens if the gold price falls during my term?

Rewards compound in gold quantity, not dollars, so your holding of metal increases over the term. The dollar value of that holding still moves with the gold spot price (referenced to the LBMA price), so it can go down as well as up.

Can I withdraw or unstake early?

Staking terms are set for the 9-month period. Any early-unlock options, conditions, or adjusted rates are set out in your staking agreement, so read it before you commit.

Is Ozz Metals Ltd regulated?

Ozz Metals Ltd is an Australian company, registered with AUSTRAC as a digital currency exchange and progressing an Australian Financial Services Licence. It is not a bank, and the tokens are not bank deposits. Ask us for the current status and documents before you invest.

How do I redeem my tokens?

At maturity you choose physical gold delivery to a registered capital-city office, or the equivalent cash value, according to the redemption process set out in your agreement.

Do I need identity verification (KYC)?

Yes. Standard identity checks (KYC and AML) are completed during onboarding, before purchasing or staking. Digital Bullion does not collect that information on this website.

Are there tax implications?

Gains from gold-backed tokens and staking rewards may be taxable in your jurisdiction. Speak with a qualified tax adviser about how this applies to you. Reports can be generated for your accountant.

Can I use my SMSF?

Yes. Reports can be generated on unstaking, withdrawal, or reward harvest, suitable for SMSF record-keeping. Confirm with a licensed adviser that it fits your fund's strategy and compliance duties.

What is the minimum and maximum I can invest?

You can start from $100. There is no upper limit, and larger holdings reach the higher promotional staking tiers shown on the staking section.

Are there ongoing fees or commissions?

No ongoing fees or commissions are charged to hold or stake. Vendor and network costs, where they apply, are set out in your agreement.
